The Ten Commandments
20 God spoke, and these were his words: 2 “I am the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt, where you were slaves.
3 “Worship no god but me. 4 “Do not make for yourselves images of anything in heaven or on earth or in the water under the earth. 5 Do not bow down to any idol or worship it, because I am the Lord your God and I tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me and on their descendants down to the third and fourth generation. 6 But I show my love to thousands of generations[a] of those who love me and obey my laws. 7 “Do not use my name for evil purposes, for I, the Lord your God, will punish anyone who misuses my name.
8 “Observe the Sabbath and keep it holy. 9 You have six days in which to do your work, 10 but the seventh day is a day of rest dedicated to me. On that day no one is to work—neither you, your children, your slaves, your animals, nor the foreigners who live in your country. 11 In six days I, the Lord, made the earth, the sky, the seas, and everything in them, but on the seventh day I rested. That is why I, the Lord, blessed the Sabbath and made it holy.
12 “Respect your father and your mother, so that you may live a long time in the land that I am giving you.
13 “Do not commit murder.
14 “Do not commit adultery.
15 “Do not steal.
16 “Do not accuse anyone falsely.
17 “Do not desire another man's house; do not desire his wife, his slaves, his cattle, his donkeys, or anything else that he owns.”

Human Disobedience
3 Now the snake was the most cunning animal that the Lord God had made. The snake asked the woman, “Did God really tell you not to eat fruit from any tree in the garden?”
2 “We may eat the fruit of any tree in the garden,” the woman answered, 3 “except the tree in the middle of it. God told us not to eat the fruit of that tree or even touch it; if we do, we will die.”
4 The snake replied, “That's not true; you will not die. 5 God said that because he knows that when you eat it, you will be like God[a] and know what is good and what is bad.”[b]
6 The woman saw how beautiful the tree was and how good its fruit would be to eat, and she thought how wonderful it would be to become wise. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, and he also ate it. 7 As soon as they had eaten it, they were given understanding and realized that they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and covered themselves.
8 That evening they heard the Lord God walking in the garden, and they hid from him among the trees. 9 But the Lord God called out to the man, “Where are you?”
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden; I was afraid and hid from you, because I was naked.”
11 “Who told you that you were naked?” God asked. “Did you eat the fruit that I told you not to eat?”
12 The man answered, “The woman you put here with me gave me the fruit, and I ate it.”
13 The Lord God asked the woman, “Why did you do this?”
She replied, “The snake tricked me into eating it.”
God Pronounces Judgment
14 Then the Lord God said to the snake, “You will be punished for this; you alone of all the animals must bear this curse: From now on you will crawl on your belly, and you will have to eat dust as long as you live. 15 I will make you and the woman hate each other; her offspring and yours will always be enemies. Her offspring will crush your head, and you will bite her offspring's[c] heel.”
16 And he said to the woman, “I will increase your trouble in pregnancy and your pain in giving birth. In spite of this, you will still have desire for your husband, yet you will be subject to him.”
17 And he said to the man, “You listened to your wife and ate the fruit which I told you not to eat. Because of what you have done, the ground will be under a curse. You will have to work hard all your life to make it produce enough food for you. 18 It will produce weeds and thorns, and you will have to eat wild plants. 19 You will have to work hard and sweat to make the soil produce anything, until you go back to the soil from which you were formed. You were made from soil, and you will become soil again.”
20 Adam[d] named his wife Eve,[e] because she was the mother of all human beings. 21 And the Lord God made clothes out of animal skins for Adam and his wife, and he clothed them.
The Temptation of Jesus.
Jesus went through a Temptation for Forty Days and Forty Nights without food and water. But Jesus passed the Temptation. because He listened to God's words instead of lies from devil like Adam believed the devil's lies, But instead he opposed God.
Although Jesus died, but after 3 Days, Jesus came back to life. He lead the way and example for normal people like you and me to follow His example instead of the example of Adam & Eve.. That if you just keep on passing your Trials and Temptations every morning each day, Chances are; you would live forever and ever, like Jesus does.
Please open your Holy Bible and read: Matthew 4.1-11. The Temptation of Jesus.
4 Then the Spirit led Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the Devil. 2 After spending forty days and nights without food, Jesus was hungry. 3 Then the Devil came to him and said, “If you are God's Son, order these stones to turn into bread.”
4 But Jesus answered, “The scripture says, ‘Human beings cannot live on bread alone, but need every word that God speaks.’”
5 Then the Devil took Jesus to Jerusalem, the Holy City, set him on the highest point of the Temple, 6 and said to him, “If you are God's Son, throw yourself down, for the scripture says,
‘God will give orders to his angels about you;
they will hold you up with their hands,
so that not even your feet will be hurt on the stones.’”
7 Jesus answered, “But the scripture also says, ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”
8 Then the Devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in all their greatness. 9 “All this I will give you,” the Devil said, “if you kneel down and worship me.”
10 Then Jesus answered, “Go away, Satan! The scripture says, ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve only him!’”
11 Then the Devil left Jesus; and angels came and helped him.
3. Lesson #3. Do Not Be Worried And Upset, Trust In God. Most people will get worried and upset whenever something bad happens to them or any other people.
Most people will say: “What are we going to eat, drink, wear and shelter?” Jesus tells us in the Holy Bible to not be worried and upset. He says to believe in God and believe also in Him.
As it's written in the Holy Bible in the book of John 14.1 Good News Translation “Do not be worried
and upset,” Jesus told them. “Believe[a] in God and believe also in me.”
1. Whenever you are in need or something bad happens to you, do not worry and do not be upset. But instead, turn to God and ask Him for help. Just tell God: “Lord help me with my problems like food, drink, and shelter. Please assist me with clothing or whatever need I may have in the name of Jesus”. Just ask God and He will give you these
things.
As it’s written in the Holy Bible in the book of John 14.12-14 12 Good News Translation. I am telling you
the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do—yes, they will do even greater things. because I
am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father's glory will be shown through the Son. 14 If you ask me[d] for anything in my name, I will do it.
2. Keep in mind: When you ask God for something of great importance to you. just the minute you end your prayer and open your eyes. something will happen, something that will discourage and prevent you from believing the promises of God.
Something in your heart will tell you: “God is not going to do it, God will not answer my prayer.” When that thought comes in your mind, just ignore it and deny it. But tell yourself: “I believe that God is going to do it. I believe that, God will answer my prayer.” After you continue to believe in God, and then you will receive the gift from God. The gift that you asked Him initially.
As it’s written in the Holy Bible in the book of Luke 11.11-13 Good News Bible. 11 Would any of you who are fathers give your son a snake when he asks for fish? 12 Or would you give him a scorpion when he asks for an egg? 13Bad as you are, you know how to give good things to your children. How much more, then, will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
